I noticed a hot topic posted the other day talking about the new, ad-free gallery and user pages. I have noticed that the reality is the banner ads are now devART green and people have huge ads underneath their bio information that are labeled as "deviantART Notices." Is it just me, or were the old ads less obtrusive and more truthful?

I was digging through some old pictures and decided I liked a few I never posted.  So, I posted them.

I made a post in one of the forums about where I saw devART going in a couple years, seeing as though more and more features seem to be moving towards subscription only features. I was promptly told I should have stuck it in the complaint forum (which I could not find), and at any rate, it was an opinion and not a complaint. Before I was able to respond with these salient points, the thread was locked.  I reckon it could have been moved to the appropriate place with just as much as ease, and they could have also been a little tolerant seeing as though it was my first forum post here.  Incidently, it will also be my last.
