I noticed a hot topic posted the other day talking about the new, ad-free gallery and user pages.

I have noticed that the reality is the banner ads are now devART green and people have huge ads underneath their bio information that are labeled as "deviantART Notices."

Is it just me, or were the old ads less obtrusive and more truthful?
